Just one point of note. Being a Bank of America customer, I have a little first-hand experience with Site Key that Patrick mentioned. Not only does it keep track of the computer you access the bank from and ask you a bunch of security questions to make sure you are you when you change computers, but it also shows you your "site key" so that you can authenticate that the bank is really your bank. You pick your site key, which is a piece of clip-art, and then before you are prompted to enter your PIN number, you see your site key that you selected.

This is great, but as an end user you have to remember to look for this! If you go to a site that looks and feels like your bank and you aren't presented with your familiar little picture, will you remember that you're supposed to see it? Or will you enter your PIN anyway.

I'll bet most users would forget about it, which just goes to show you that people don't understand the threat and probably won't take these features seriously until something bad happens.
